INTERNATIONAL WORKERS' DAY
The International Workers' Day, also known as Labour Day, is celebrated on May 1st of each year in many countries around the world to commemorate the achievements of the workers in the economic and social, The date was chosen for International Workers' Day by the Second International to commemorate the Haymarket affair, which occurred in Chicago on May 1st 1886. Some countries celebrate a Labour Day on other dates significant to them, such as the United States which celebrates Labor Day on the first Monday of September.
