THE SCHOOL

The name of my school is G. Galileo, it is located in the center of the town. In my school there are about 900 students, it is a big school. There are also a car park, a theater, a gym and 3 buildings.

My classroom is in the first building, on the first floor, it is small but there is an electronic blackboard. In my classroom there are 16 students, they are very sociable. My teachers aren't bad! 

In my school there are a computer lab and a linguistic lab.  My class  and I always go to the linguistic lab with our teachers of English.

 

THANKSGIVING DAY

Thanksgiving Day, is a holiday celebrated in the United States on the fourth Thursday in November, and in Canada on the second Monday in October.It became an official Federal holiday in 1863, during the Civil War. Thanksgiving is one of the major holidays of the year. The event that Americans commonly call the "First Thanksgiving" was celebrated by the Pilgrims. It is celebrated as a sign of gratitude for the end of the harvest season.

INTRODUCING MYSELF

My name is Martina V. and I'm 13 years old. My birthday is on February 19th. I'm attending a secondary school of language. 

In my family there are 4 people,my father,my mother, my brother called Salvatore, and me. I love going out with my friends, chatting and listening to music.My favourite singers are: Ligabue, Emma, and Alessandra Amoroso. My best friend is Melanie,but I have got another friend but she is as a sister.I love them ♥

My name is Martina. Derived from the Latin Martinus, meaning 'dedicated to Mars'. Martina celebrates the name day on  January 30th in memory of St. Martina, virgin and martyr of Rome.It is a pacific person, a sweet person and a sensible person.
